Get acquainted with the amazing skills of local craftsmen in our many special shops. Jämsä is famous for its felt tradition and we have three felt factory outlets in the region. Handicrafts, interior design and gift shops are numerous.

Although Jämsä may seem like a small town, we have specialized shops, for instance, in fishing, hunting, downhill skiing, snowboarding, sports, horseback riding, trotting, pets, kayaking, tour skating, antique etc., and several clothing shops, bakeries, direct sales, and supermarkets.
