Nordic Walking Park

On 8th of June 2008 was the opening of a new Nordic Walking park at Himos. The park contains marked routes of 6,1 and 8,5 km, beginning at the HimosCenter, including 4,2 km route at the top of the Northern Himos and a 4 km route in Jämsä between Paunu Sport Centre and Pukinvuori Hills.

The walking pole rental is organized at the reception in HimosCenter and at the cafeteria Vuorikahvio on the top of Northern Himos, also in sport shops in the centre of Jämsä hire walking poles. Our qualified Nordic walking instructors offer you fun and energetic walking trips in the terrain of Himos.
